Amanda Winderl

Amanda L. Winderl, age 36, of Saranac Lake, NY passed away on Monday April 19, 2021 at Albany Medical Center.

Amanda was born in Saranac Lake, NY on March 6, 1985 the daughter of Barbara Winderl and Franklin Wenner.

Amanda was a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake. She worked for Citizens Advocates as a job coach before her illness. She loved her consumers and they loved her. Amanda’s smile and laughter were contagious. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sadly, Amanda leaves behind her mother Barbara (Peter Shovan) Winderl, her sweet daughter Anna Marie Lopez, her brother Adam (Takara) Winderl and a niece and nephew Kaydance Winderl and Kane Thompson all of Saranac Lake, NY as well as Titi and Ali. Amanda had a large extended family and all will miss her dearly.

Amanda was preceded in death by her father Franklin Wenner, her grandfather Robert Winderl and her grandmother Katherine Lambert. She was also predeceased by her grandfather and grandmother William and Barbara (Pelkey) Wenner.

Funeral Arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday April 29, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A memorial prayer services will be held at 6:30pm with the Reverend Martin Cline officiating. Burial will take place on Friday April 30, 2021 at 1:00pm at St. Bernard’s cemetery. Covid-19 safety protocols remain in effect and everyone is reminded to wear facemasks and social distance.
