Grace Williams Kipping

Grace Lucinda Williams Kipping, age 72, of Saranac Lake, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 03, 2018 at her home.

Born in Lime Rock, Connecticut on January 16, 1946, she was the daughter of Richard and Abby (McIntyre`) Williams.

Grace attended and was in the first graduating class of the Nursing program at North Country Community College in 1968. She worked at various area medical offices and facilities over the years including North Country Family Physicians, Lake Placid Sports Medicine and Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid. Following her retirement from nursing she worked for North Star Industries at the Hott House in Saranac Lake for several years. She was an avid garner and especially enjoyed spending time at her camp in Franklin Falls.

She is survived by her four children Jennifer (Kevin) Oddy of Saranac Lake, Richard Charland of Eagle Bridge, NY, Allison (Christopher) Giambanco of Dover, PA and Jacob (Kerry) Kipping of Saranac Lake, 8 grandchildren Brady and Brittany Pratt, Olivia Wakelee, Ethan Oddy, Logan Klouse, Kyler Giambanco and Kailey an Lilly Kipping, and one great grandson Easton Crary. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother John Williams, and her granddaughter Natalie Oddy.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with Rev. Eric Olsen officiating. Burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery.
