Carol M. Williams, 60, of Brushton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone. Born July 15, 1951 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Aubin and Jeannette (LeBlanc) Sauve. Carol attended local schools and was previously married to William P. Williams of Tupper Lake, NY. Carol has resided for the past 18 years in Brushton with her friend and companion Joseph Sokolowski. She had been employed as a home health aide with North Country Home Services. Carol was a very giving and beautiful soul who always thought of others before considering her own needs or feelings. Her early exit from the lives of her family and friends will leave her greatly missed . Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by three sons; John and his wife Andrea Williams of Lancaster, PA, Chris and his wife Karla Williams of Whitesboro, NY, David Williams of Tupper Lake. Grandchildren; Whitney, Lauren, Madyson, Taylor, Christopher, Ashley, Tara, Megan and Carter. One great-grandson, Carson. Also surviving are five brothers; Louis and his wife Arlene Sauve of Conneticut, Andre and his wife Sharon Sauve of Tupper Lake, Claude and his wife Rendy Sauve of Florida, Hurban and his wife Marilyn Sauve of Atlanta, Georgia, Gary Sauve of Albany, two sisters; Joanne Kinney and her husband Ricky of Florida and Maryanne Delap and her husband Virgal of Montana. She was pre-deceased by her parents, three brothers; Robert, Real , Adrian and one sister Joan. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 4pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home in Tupper Lake.
