Sandra Warner

Sandra (Sandy) H. Warner,73, born June 2nd, 1941 in Bell Glade, Florida to Frank and Annie Laurie (Walker) Algea, has passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014.

Sandy was married to Norman E. Warner in May of 1957 in Miami, Florida. They spent their last years living in Ray Brook, NY.

Sandy worked at the Saranac Lake Hospital as a Dietitian and Nurses Aide. Her hobbies included gardening and traveling. Upon retirement, Norman and Sandy spent their winters in Phoenix, Arizona. Sandy was surrounded by her friends and family in the months leading to her death. Sandy will be remembered for her unconditional love, wit and light hearted approach to life. She was able to keep her sense of humor through the last days of her life and she was never too shy to speak her mind. She leaves this world greatly loved and will be sorely missed.

Sandy was survived by her four children: Norman Warner jr. and his life partner Valerie Whitney residing in Phoenix, AZ; Wayne Warner and his wife Geana Warner residing in Buckeye, AZ; Laurie Woodruff and her husband Richard Woodruff residing in Ray Brook, NY; and Mia Irvine and her husband Bruce Irvine residing in Bloomingdale, NY.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
