Jason Wagner

Jason Nicholas Wagner, age 88, of 853 Fletcher Farm Road, Bloomingdale, and formerly of Brushton, NY died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Bangor, New York on August 07, 1927, Jason was the son of Herman and Helen Elizabeth (Reardon) Wagner. He married Connie M. Greene in Norfolk, New York on April 11, 1955.

Jason attended and graduated from St. Michaels College in Burlington, Vermont with his Bachelor's degree. He later attended St. Lawrence University where he graduated with a Master of Education Degree. He was a veteran of the United States Army Counter Intelligence Corp., serving in Japan from 1951 to

1953. Following his tour in Japan he returned home and retired in 1984 as Brushton - Moria Superintendent of Schools. Jason lived all his life in Brushton until he and his wife sold their home and shared time between their condo at Ft. Myers Beach, Florida and their camp on Indian Lake in Owls Head, NY.

He is survived by his wife Connie Wagner of Bloomingdale, two sons Richard L. (Denise) Wagner of Bloomingdale and Frederick J. (Jane) Wagner of Bel Air, MD, and five grandchildren Sara and Kayla Wagner of Bel Air, MD, and Joshua, Traci, and Kellee Wagner all of Bloomingdale. He was preceded in

death by sister Genevieve Agnes Wagner who died in infancy in 1926.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services and internment will take place in Brushton, NY at the convenience of the family.
