Camillo Vitullo died Friday October 1, 2010 at the Mooresown Estates in Moorestown, NJ. He was 85. Beloved husband for 62 years to Eleanor J. (nee Duquette). Loving father of Kathy Vitullo Ford (Joseph) of Cherry Hill, NJ; Nick Vitullo (Patty) of Cherry Hill, NJ; Mary Vitullo Komerosky (Cork) of Englewood, FL and Michael Vitullo of Burlington Twp., NJ. Devoted grandfather of Amanda Cohen (Ben), Kelly, Lindsey, Andrew and great grandson Brandon.
Born in Italy, Camillo came to this country at the age of 12 where he grew up in Saranac Lake, NY. Camillo served in the Navy in the South Pacific Theater on the USS Cook Inlet as a radio tech (radar), 2nd class. Upon graduation from Clarkson College he spent his career working for RCA as an electrical engineer. The last nine years of his career were spent on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands as site manager. Camillo was inducted into the Saranac Lake High School Hall of Fame.
The family will receive friends on Friday October 8, 2010 from 10:45 AM to 11:45AM at St. Bernard’s Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at the church. Interment will take place at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Saranac Lake, NY.
