Eva A. Trombley, age 81, of 4 LeBoeuf St., Tupper Lake, died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at her home.
Born in Tupper Lake, New York on July 7, 1928, she was the daughter of Sidney and Irene (Burnell) Trombley.
Eva was a life-long resident of Tupper Lake and had been employed by the dress factory, Tupper Lake Veneer, had worked nights at the Wheel Inn as a bartender and delivered the Enterprise from 1999 until her retirement in 2009. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, plumbing and also did a little carpentry.
She is survived by her son: Rodney Bohin, a grandson: Matthew Bohin, a granddaughter: Melissa Burnett, a great granddaughter: Kaylee Burnett , and two great-grandsons: Devin Nickolson and Logan Burnett, all of Tupper Lake a brother: Edgar Trombley of Rochester, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Sidney Trombley, her mother Irene Burnell, her brothers: Charles, Millard, Clifton and George Trombley, her sisters: Ruth Pickering, Eleanor LaFlamme, Melissa Bedore and Marion.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said 11AM Tuesday April 6, 2010 at Holy Name Church in Tupper Lake with Father Thomas Kornmeyer officiating. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Tupper Lake.
