Patricia Stephenson

Patricia Stephenson, age 82, of Saranac Lake, died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Noyes Hospital in Dansville.

Born in Bloomingdale, New York on October 10, 1935, she was the daughter of Erwin and Lilian (Mose) Strobel. Patricia, married William Stephenson on May 2, 1963 in St. Paul's Church in, Bloomingdale. He predeceased her February 19, 2012.

Pat was a lifelong resident of the area and recently had been living in an assisted living home in Arkport, NY for the past year and a half. She was employed as a Telephone Operator for New York Telephone for several years and was an active member of St. Paul’s Church in Bloomingdale.

She is survived by three sons Michael (Yvonne) Stephenson of Hornell, NY, Robert (Katie) Stephenson of Bloomingdale, and William Stephenson of Bloomingdale, one brother Erwin (Kathy) Strobel of Victor, NY, and 6 Grandchildren.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:30 PM on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at St. Paul's Oratory in Bloomingdale, with Rev. Paul Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
