Patrick Dale Stein, CRNA, age 53, recently of Saranac Lake, NY and formerly of Sharon, PA died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 21, 2016.
Born in Warren, Ohio on March 17, 1963, he was the son of Carl and Donna (Hatch) Stein, Sr. Patrick married Jane Jergens on March 6, 2015 at a ski-in wedding in Stowe, VT.
Patrick recently relocated to Saranac Lake, NY from Sharon, PA following a lifelong dream to do the work he loved in a place where he could bike to work, mountain bike, fish and ski. Jane was to follow shortly. He was employed at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and enjoyed every minute of it.
He is survived by his wife Jane and four loving children: Matthew Murphy of Seattle, WA, Abby Stein of Hubbard, OH, Hayly Stein of Pittsburgh, PA, and Christopher Hartnagel of Sharon, PA. He is also survived by his mother and father Donna and Carl Stein, Sr. of Vienna, OH and a brother and sister-in-law Carl and Tuesday Stein, Jr. and two lovely nieces. Three dogs miss him terribly - Charles, Joey and Turbo.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake, NY. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will take place at a later date in Sharon, PA.
