Panagiotis “Peter” Nikolas Schinas, age 6, of 16 James Street, Saranac Lake, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Adirondack Medical Center following a long illness.

Born in Brooklyn, New York on November 07, 2008, he was the son of and Irene Schinas and Oleg Tchernytchenko.

He is survived by his mother Irene Schinas of Saranac Lake his father and Oleg Tchernytchenko, two brothers and sister Yana, Ivan and Michael all of Saranac Lake, maternal grandmother Lyudmyla Doloshok of Saranac Lake, and Olga Tchernytchenko of Viborg, Russia, and one grandfather Peter Schinas of Patra, Greece.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Ann S. Gaillard officiating.
