TUPPER LAKE- Pauline Fernawd Robillard, 87, passed away, Saturday, August 20, at the Mercy Living Center where she had resided the past two months. Born November 6, 1923 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Armenigile Mitchell and Marie Ann (LeVesque) Robillard. Pauline graduated from Holy Ghost Academy in 1942 and attended nursing school in Springfield, MA. She worked at the O.W. D. corp. for a time. Attended Cosmetology school in Watertown and worked as a Beautician for several years. She went on to be the housekeeper for Fr. Chevalier retiring after his death in 1996. Pauline was very active in her church and community belonging to the Legion of Mary and the Adirondack Adult Center. She is survived by one niece Cheryl Arsenault, two nephews; Tim and Mitch Robillard, two great-nephews, Mark Robillard and Matthew Arsenault, and two great nieces, Tara Arsenault and Christie (Robillard) LaVigne and four great-great nephews and two great-great nieces. She is also survived by one Sister-in-law Margaret Robillard. She was pre-deceased by her parents, a sister, Sister Jeanne Robillard, DHS and a brother Leo P. Robillard. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23 at Holy Name of Jesus Church. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Adirondack Adult Center. Arrangements are with the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home.
