Diane Pryor

TUPPER LAKE- Diane L. (Washburn) Pryor, 56, of Tupper Lake, passed away, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at her home. Born May 19, 1954 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Harrison and Gloria (Turner) Washburn. Diane was raised in Indian Lake and moved to Tupper Lake in 1978. On August 16, 1981 she married James Pryor. Diane worked as a waitress at the 19th hole restaurant and went on to manage and operate the restaurant at the Tupper Lake country club for the 2003-2004 season. She was a member of the Ladies of The Moose. She is survived by her husband James, one son Kevin Locke, one daughter Katrina Pryor, both of Tupper Lake. Two grandchildren, Austin Locke and Dawson Symonds. She was pre-deceased by her parents. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 1 from 2 to 5 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home in Tupper Lake. A funeral service will follow at 5pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus cemetery in May. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider High Peaks Hospice or the Tupper Lake Rescue Squad.
