William C. Paye Jr. "Buck," age 46, of Saranac Lake, passed on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the Adirondack Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Saranac Lake, NY, on September 4, 1975, he was the son of William Sr. and Becky Paye. After graduating from Saranac Lake High School, Buck proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Buck was an avid winter enthusiast. He loved spending time on the Adirondack trails with friends and family on his snowmobile. During the summer months, if you didn't see him in the driveway washing his truck or fixing something, he could be found in the garden, camping, at a track watching a race, or at a bonfire chanting a cadence or two. In his free time, he took great enjoyment in broadening his grilling and cooking skills. He loved a variety of music, from Metallica to Dave Matthews Band and Garth Brooks. Above all, he had a great love for his family. He dedicated his life to providing a loving and secure environment for all his children and loved ones.

He is survived by his fiancé, Shannon Reynolds-Maroun of Saranac Lake, NY., one daughter, Kylee and her fiancé, Nick Charron of Clayton, NC., two sons, Elijah Paye of Latham, NY., and Lincoln Paye of Saranac Lake, NY., and two stepsons, Cayden Heading and Carsyn Maroun both of Saranac Lake, NY. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
