Nancy Nelson Miner Pandolfo, age 81, of Bloomingdale, NY died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Uihlein Mercy Center Nursing Home in Lake Placid.

Born in Manchester, New York on November 08, 1929, she was the daughter of William and Florence (Bennett) Nelson. She married Al Pandolfo on November 23, 1974 in Bloomingdale, New York. He predeceased her on June 10, 1990. She was formerly married to Joseph G. Miner of Saranac Lake.

Nancy was a 1947 graduate of Manchester, NY High School. She was the owner and operator of the Swinging Tiger Bar and Restaurant in Saranac Lake, the Shamrock Bar and Restaurant in Gabriels and the Past and Present sporting goods store in Saranac Lake. She also had been a real estate agent in the area for eleven years retiring in 2001. She was a Communicant of the Church of the Assumption in Gabriels, a member of the third order of the Carmelites, a volunteer at St. Bernard's School with the foster grandparent program, taught catechism at St. Paul's Church in Bloomingdale, taught at the Roman Catholic Initiation of Adults and Children and was a communion minister.

She is survived by one son Joseph Nelson and his wife Lynn of Bloomingdale, NY one sister Julie Foley of Bloomingdale, three grandchildren Elizabeth, Patience and Gabriel Nelson, and several nieces and nephews including Barb, Tom, Bill and George Foley. She was preceded in death her father and mother.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 2:00 PM -4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 P. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday March 18, 2011 at St. Paul's Church. in Bloomingdale, with Rev. Paul Kelly officiating. Burial will take place at Fort Hill Cemetery in Auburn, NY..
