Eleanor O. Pabins, age 87, of 78 Will Rogers Drive, Saranac Lake, died Saturday, February 05, 2011 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Born in Rochester, New York on November 26, 1923, she was the daughter of Harry and Pauline (Sanlow) Wozey. She married John Pabins on August 3, 1946 in Rochester, New York. He predeceased her on September 18, 1999.
Eleanor spent her summers in Saranac Lake since the early 1950's. She was a resident of Rochester, New York for over 40 years. Following her husbands retirement in 1981 they spent their summers in Saranac Lake and winters in Florida.
She is survived by one son John Pabins of Lake Placid, NY and one daughter Karyn Harkrader of Denver, CO, 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her father, mother and two brothers Steven and Michael Wozey.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will take place in the spring.
