Anne Nels

Anne Elizabeth Nels, age 48, of Saranac Lake, NY, passed away on Saturday April 8th, 2023.

Anne was born on November 26th, 1974 in Saranac Lake, NY the daughter of Kathleen and John Nels. She graduated from Saranac Lake Central High School and North Country Community College.

Anne grew up in Saranac Lake. In her spare time, she enjoyed jewelry making, painting, and many other crafts. She loved movies and music. Her two cats, Oscar and Agnes, gave her much joy. Throughout her life, Anne heroically battled several chronic illnesses stemming from Gardner's Syndrome.

Anne is survived by the love of her life Kyle Bombard of Lake Placid; her parents: John and Kathleen Nels of Saranac Lake; her sisters: Becky Nels of Lake Placid and Erin Nels Gayne of Saranac Lake; her niece and nephew, Charlotte and Logan Gayne of Saranac Lake as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. There will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday April 21, 2023 at St. Bernard’s Church in Saranac Lake. Burial will immediately follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
