Helen M. Munn, age 79, of 60 Church Street Apt. 6B, Saranac Lake, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at her home.
Born in Plattsburgh, New York on August 19, 1931, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Margaret (Leonard) Morgan. Helen married David H. Munn on May 11, 1957 in St. Bernard's Church.
Mrs. Munn had been a resident of Saranac Lake for most of her life and had been employed by the New York Telephone Company for several years. She is a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court at St. Bernard and a past member of the Ladies of the Elk BPOE 1508.
She is survived by her husband David Munn of Saranac Lake, NY, 8 children David Munn and his wife Anne, Kathleen Dann and her husband Bill, Debbie Lichtenwalter and her fiance Brian Carey, Timothy Munn and his wife Amy, Kyle Munn, and Kevin Munn all of Saranac Lake, Kerry Munn and her partner Steve Amell of Galway, NY, and Paula Cook of Albany, NY, 14 grandchildren Sean Lichtenwalter, Morgan Lichtenwalter, Kellen Munn, Nathalie Munn, Rita Munn, Raymond Amell, Josh Dann, Vanessa Pagan, Christina Smallets, Aaron Smallets, Ryan Smallets, Adam Trim, Anthony and Caitlin Cook, 4 great grandchildren Sydney and Addison Dann and Connor and Riley Pagan, one brother Dew Drop Morgan of Saranac Lake, brother and sister-in-laws Nancy Morgan, Jean McDonough, Peggy DeVit, and Jack and Janet Debbie all of Saranac Lake, NY, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, one daughter Michelle Marie Munn, three brothers & four sisters.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Sunday November 14, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A bible vigil service will take place on Sunday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday at St. Bernard’s Church in Saranac Lake with Rev. Mark Reilly officiating.
