Isabelle Mosher, age 82, of 78 Will Rogers Drive, Saranac Lake, died Monday, December 05, 2016.
Born in Vermontville, New York on January 31, 1934, she was the daughter of Joesph and Doris (Skeels) Tucker.
Isabelle is a lifelong resident of the area where she raised her 9 children While raising her 9 children she worked at various places as a nurse’s aide including North Country Home Services and Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid for many years. Isabelle had made her home and loved living at Saranac Village at Will Rogers for the past 12 years.
She is survived by her eight children Sheila (Keith) Elsenbeck of Saranac Lake, Gail Chauvin of Plattsburgh, Kevin Symonds of Saranac Lake, Tuffield (Diana) Symonds of TN, Doris (Dan) Spencer of Ballston Spa, Robert Symonds of Ogdensburg, Joan Blue of Saranac Lake and Kenneth (Billie Jo) Symonds of Gabriels, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, four brothers Joseph (Sandy) Tucker of Mallory, NY, Albert (Sylvia) Tucker of Peru Gerald (Georgina) Tucker of Constancia , NY and Ernie (Pat) Tucker of Wisconsin and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, one son Steven Symonds and husband Donald Mosher.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday December 14th at the First Presbyterian Church in Saranac Lake, with Rev. Joanne White officiating. With a Deacons reception to follow Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Vermontville in the spring.
