Margaret Kathleen (Bradbury) Morrow passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Spanaway, WA at the age of 100.
Margaret (Peggy) was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1917 to James and Catherine Bradbury. They left Ireland and went to Ottawa, Canada when Peggy was only 3 years old. She was raised there until she went to Lake Placid to work. While there she met and married James E. Morrow on January 28, 1940 and they moved to Saranac Lake where she resided until December 2001. She then went to Spanaway, WA to live with her daughter Sherry and husband Ron.
She had been employed at St. Pius School, the Grand Union, Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Saranac Lake Central School District and American Management Association.
She is survived by four daughters, Margaret (DeeDee) Duprey of Saranac Lake, Susan Moody of Lake Clear, Sheila (Larry) Miller of Landrum, SC and Sherry (Ron) Degon of Spanaway, WA, one son Dennis (Dale) Morrow of Maryland Heights, MO and one daughter-in-law Betty Morrow of Collins Center, 10 grandchildren, Tammy (Allan) Wright, Tim (Amy) Duprey, Tracy (Jon) Owens. Tina (Doug) McCabe, Lisa (Matt) Munn, Michael Miller, Kelly Miller, Ronald Degon, Brandi (Andy) Ambruster and Jessica (Fred) Ruddy, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephew. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Bert, husband James E., son James, grandson Scott Miller and two sons-in-law Clarence Duprey, Jr. and Charles Moody.
Calling hours will take place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday August 27, 2017 at the Fortune-Keough Funeral in Saranac Lake. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday August 28, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Church with Rev. Patrick Ratigan officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
