Nancy (Rogers) Morgan,84 of 23 Cranberry Lane, Saranac Lake, died Wednesday December 14, 2011at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, New York.

Born July 25, 1927, in Saranac Lake, she was the daughter of Arthur F. and Ethel (Harrington) Rogers.

She received her Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in Elementary Education from SUNY Plattsburgh. She retired in 1985 after 35 years of teaching - 7 years in the South Colonie Central School system and 28 years in the Saranac Lake Central School system.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas (Jerry) Morgan whom she married in 1957, as well as four brothers, James H. of Athens, GA, Neil R. of Saranac Lake, Colin A. of Dannemora and Rev. Thomas W. Rogers of Belle Vernon, PA.

Survivors include, many nieces, nephews and their families, including Dr. Gail Rogers Rice of Saranac Lake, Mrs. Robert (Paula) Fish of Cadyville, Mark J. Rogers of Plattsburgh, Anthony J. Rogers of Auburn, AL, Kelly Morgan of Saranac Lake and Kathleen Dann of Saranac Lake. In-laws Mary Jane Rogers of Dannemora, Jean McDonough, Forrest Morgan, and David Munn all of Saranac Lake, and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday at St. Bernard's Church with the Rev. Mark Reilly officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
