Laurie Miner

Laurie C. Miner, age 45, of 225 Lake Street, Saranac Lake, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Adirondack Medical Center of Saranac Lake, NY.

Born in Oneida, New York on November 10, 1962, she was the daughter of Charles William and Laura (Smith) Wheeler.

Our Mom, sister, friend and neighbor Laurie Catherine Miner left us to carry on. We will miss her and that’s ok. The times we had with her now mean so much more. We will keep her in our hearts and say our goodbyes at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter Laura Miner and her companion BJ Hewitt of Onchiota, NY, two sons Joshua and Bradley Lohr both of Saranac Lake, NY, one granddaughter Natalie Hewitt of Onchiota, NY, three sisters Cindy Dougherty of Jamesville, NY, Charlotte Stoddard of Canastota, NY and Bonnie Lopez of Blossvale, NY; two brothers Gary Wheeler of Sylvan Beach, NY and Charles Wheeler of Oneida, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Todd Kelly Miner and one brother Billy Wheeler.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake on Saturday, November 1, 2008 from 4PM - 5PM. A funeral service will take place at 5:00 PM on Saturday with Rev. Harold Clark officiating.
