It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of "Bill," William McGovern on July 24th 2020 at CVPH Medical Center Plattsburgh, NY.
Bill was born July 28th, 1938 and spent his life living across NY until he settled in The Adirondacks in the 1980's. In nice weather, Bill enjoyed fishing and walking the river walk in Saranac Lake.
Bill was a lover of music and boasted an envious radio collection. He also enjoyed all things comedy, especially the Three Stooges. His loved ones knew Bill as someone guaranteed to make you smile.
Bill was a friend to many especially his Sweet Heart Sandy. Bill also leaves behind many caregivers whose hearts he has touched over the years.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. There will be no calling hours, a graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Saranac Lake, NY. with the Reverend Patrick Ratigan officiating.
