Patrick H. McCormick, age 72, of 38 Cedar Street, Saranac Lake, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Born in Saranac Lake, on July 03, 1940, he was the son of Joseph and Rose (Rule) McCormick.
Pat owned and operated Pat’s TV Sales and Service in Saranac Lake for over 30 years. He was a well known local musician and had played in the Sun Set Travelers Band with Jack Knight, Frank Camello and Bruce Arnold and in the J and P Review with Jim Minney. Pat enjoyed animals, woodworking and antique cars.
He is survived by his wife Valarie D'Ambrisi whom he married September 21, 2002 in Saranac Lake, one son Patrick McCormick, Jr. of Saranac Lake, NY, three daughters Jayme Buck of Merritt Island, FL, Wendy O’Connor of Keller, TX, and Debbie McCormick of Tulsa, AZ, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 7 brothers and sisters Helen Muncil of Saranac Lake, Vivian Eccleston of Saranac Lake, Kathleen Becker of Long Island, Eileen Slate of Saranac Lake, Richard McCormick of Saranac Lake, Donna Moody of Danamora, and Sharon Berry of Saranac Lake, one sister-in-law Carolyn McCormick of Saranac Lake, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Gee Gee. He was predeceased by his father, mother, his wife Dianne McCormick, two sisters Mary Nason and Joyce Taylor, and two brothers John and Francis McCormick .
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will take place on Thursday August 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Saranac Lake with Rev. Eric Olsoen officiating.
