ROBERT MANDIGO Sr., 76, of 8 North St., Conifer died at his home peacefully and surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 29th. Robert was born May 13, 1934 to Clifton and Louise Mandigo. He graduated from Tupper Lake High School and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps, where he met his loving wife of 54 years, Sula Butler. Robert leaves behind his wife Sula, seven children; Dorothy Smith of Raeford, NC, Armon (Tinker) Hollingsworth and his wife Glenda of Piercefield, Randy Mandigo of Tupper Lake, Kathy Fuller and her husband Robert of Tupper Lake, Dora Arsenault and her husband Keith of Niceville, FL., Robert Mandigo Jr. and Natalie of Port St. Lucie, FL. and Derick Mandigo of Tupper Lake. As a dearly loved grandfather, he will be missed by h is 12 grandchildren; Mark Smith, Clint Hollingsworth, Traci Sanford, Randy, Jonathon and Halle Mandigo, Jason and Kyle Fuller, Matthew and Korey Arsenault, Natasha and Nicole Mandigo. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers; Clifton and Lee Mandigo, fours sisters; Virginia Chapman, Katherine Lamora, Mae Duplantie and his twin sister Roberta Allendorf. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother Howard and sister Abby Fox. He was a life long resident of Conifer, where he spent much of his time hunting and fishing. He loved to teach his children and grandchildren how to fish and hunt. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral home in Tupper Lake. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gale Cemetery.
