TUPPER LAKE-Anna Grace Mack, 74, of Tupper Lake passed away, Friday, January 13, 2012 at her home on Woodlands Drive. Born on April 12, 1937 in Hogansburg, she was the daughter of James and Sophie (Patterson) Mack. Anna moved to Sunmount DDSO in 1965 and later to the Adirondack ARC. Anna served on the Board of Directors at the ARC and various workshops. She was a member of the Natural History Museum, Loyal Order of the Moose, and the Adirondack Adult Center. She attended services at St. Alphonsus church and the Tupper Lake Christian Center. Anna enjoyed bowling belonging to the Ladies league. She was active in the Tupper Lake community, volunteering at the Food pantry, Family Champions and Mercy Healthcare Center. Anna loved going to the Casino and playing slots. She was a breast cancer survivor and will be sadly missed by the many friends that loved her. She was pre-deceased by her parents and a brother Austin. She is survived by one sister Bertha Harvey. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 18th from 10:00 - 12 noon followed by a funeral service at noon at the Stuart-Fortune-keough Funeral home in Tupper Lake. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus cemetery in May. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider High Peaks Hospice in care of the funeral home.
