Gertrude E. Lintner, age 88, of Lake Clear, died Saturday, December 15, 2018 at AMC-Mercy Living Center in Tupper Lake where she had been a resident since last January.
Born in Saranac Lake, New York on July 10, 1930, she was the daughter of Franklin and Ethel (Donaldson) Powers.
She was employed as a postal clerk for ten years for the Upper St. Regis Property Owners Association. Prior to that she was employed at the Saranac Lake Shoe Factory for ten years.
She is survived by one son Robert (Jill) Lintner of Vermontville, two daughters Sharon (Gifford) Hosler of Saranac Lake and Michelle (companion John) Lintner of Lake Clear, one sister Patricia (James) Knapp of Saranac Lake, her brother-in-law Gary Lintner of North Bangor, two grandchildren Scott Hosler of Westmoreland and Janet Demumbrum of Shelton, CT, four great grandchildren Alexis and Logan Hosler, Amelia Demumbrum and Kenny Holmes and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers Donald and Robert Powers and one sister Ruth Davis.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
