Patricia A. Law, age 74, of Saranac Lake, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at her home following a long illness.
Born in Glens Falls, New York on October 11, 1943, she was the daughter of John Francis and Margaret Ann (Conway) Pickett. Patricia married John Law on September 16, 1995 at St. John's in the Wilderness Church, Paul Smiths NY.
Pat had been employed as a cook most of her life at various places including St. Bernard’s School, The Adirondack ARC and North Country Community College. Pat will be remembered as a very caring person, volunteering for local organizations such as High Peaks Hospice and the elementary student mentoring program. Pat’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her family and her favorite place to be was Lake George.
She is survived by her husband John of Saranac Lake, three children John (Merri) Goodrow of Ithaca, Kathleen Goodrow of Saranac Lake and Keith (Jody Willis) Goodrow of Bolton, CT, three grandchildren Kelty and Colden Goodrow of Ithaca and Korey McCarthy of Saranac Lake, one great granddaughter Brielle McCarthy of Saranac Lake, several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, three sisters Eileen Prairie, June West, and Mary Fiore and one brother Ed Pickett.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at St. Bernard's Church, with Rev. Patrick Ratigan officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
