Jason Larabie, age 32, formerly of Tupper Lake, NY and currently of Plattsburgh, who died Sunday, August 07, 2011 in Plattsburgh.
Born in Oxford, England on March 12, 1979, he was the son of Michael and Cynthia (Carden) Larabie.
Jason graduated from Tupper Lake High School in 1997. He later attended and graduated from North Country Community College in 1999 and Plattsburgh State University in 2003. Jason had been employed as a Customer Service manager at the Grand Union in AuSable Forks, NY. He also he worked as a substitute teacher at the AuSable Forks School System. Jason was an avid bowler participating in many Plattsburgh leagues. He also was an avid Boston Red Socks, Colorado Rockies fan and Miami Dolphins fan. Jason was an avid gamer as well.
He is survived by his mother Cynthia Larabie of Plattsburgh, his father Michael Larabie of Tupper Lake, one sister Amanda Larabie of Plattsburgh, his maternal grandmother V. Joyce Carden of Johnstown, PA and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours are set to take place at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake on Thursday August 11, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 6:00 PM Thursday evening. Following cremation interment will take place at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Tupper Lake at the convenience of the family. A complete obituary will be available on Wednesday.
