Charles “Chuck” LaPierre, age 64, of Saranac Lake, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on June 12, 1955, he was the son of Richard and Jeanette (Whitelaw) LaPierre.

Chuck was a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake and had been employed by ORDA at Mt. Van Hovenburg for many years. Everyone who knew him will remember him for his kindness, quick wit and sense of humor.

He is survived by two daughters Teresa (Michael) Klaus of Saranac Lake, Carolann (Kyle) Goodwin of North Carolina, six sons Jonathan (Jodi) LaPierre of Saranac Lake, Christopher LaPierre of Bloomingdale, Brian LaPierre of Saranac Lake, Charles LaPierre of North Carolina, James LaPierre of North Carolina and Joshua Jerome of Plattsburgh, three sisters Deborah (Marcel) Cox of Moira Jenny (Don) Tozzi of Arizona, and Nanette (Jim) Hooley of Brushton, 19 grandchildren Brian, Jonathan, Alexander, Cassandra, Taylor, Elisabeth, Matthew, Alyssa, Chayse, Emma, Brayden, Matthew, Isabel, Kaden, Jackson, Zackariah, Abigail, Jaelynn and Olivia, one great granddaughter Claire Elizabeth and longtime friend Jerry Farley and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and infant brother, Kevin.

Funeral arrangement are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. Funeral services and interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.
