Gerald P. LaPage 1948 - 2023
In Loving Memory of Gerald P. LaPage, a man whose presence was nothing short of Legendary, Known by many names, "Legend" was the one truly encapsulated his essence. Whether he was engrossed in the game of pull tabs at the Moose or Veterans Club, or keeping a watchful eye to ensure his row remained untouched,
Gerald brought joy and laughter wherever he went.
But beyond the playful banter, Gerald was a selfless soul, always putting others before himself. A devoted family man, he made it his mission to ensure everyone around him was cared for and loved. With a heart full of humor, he delighted in sharing tales of the days gone by, reminiscing about the old times that brought smiles to the faces of those who listened.
In honoring Gerald's Memory, let us cherish the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind. May his spirit live on in the hearts of all those who were touched by his warmth and generosity. Gerald's life was rich with love, laughter, and the warmth of family bonds.
Gerald's Dedication to service extended to his country as well. He proudly served in the Navy from 1968-1970, demonstrating his commitment to a cause larger than himself.
In Loving Memory of Gerald, who passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Trisha LaPage-Strader (Husband Kurt} who brought immense joy to his life. Gerald leaves behind two cherished Grandsons, Codey and Gerald (Wife Amy}, and four adored great grandchildren, Madison, Khloey,Gracelynn,and Delilah.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Elaine, whose memory he carried in his Heart.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. At Gerald’s request there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will take place at a later date to be announced.
Family and friends wishing to remember Gerald are asked to make memorial contributions to the High Peaks Hospice in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.
