Priscilla Kilburn

Priscilla Mary Kilburn, age 76, of Rainbow Lake, NY died Tuesday February 23, 2021 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family.

Priscilla was born in Lake Placid, NY on June 14, 1944 the daughter of George and Louise (Barney) Kilburn.

Priscilla was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Lakes area, and worked for Sunmount DDSO in Tupper Lake as a health care provider until her retirement. She loved the outdoors and was always taking photographs especially of her family. Priscilla took so many photos that her grandchildren would jokingly tell her she was “stealing their souls”.

Priscilla is survived by her son: James (Kelly) Miner of Wilmington, NY, her two daughters: Billi Jo (Kenny) Symonds of Rainbow Lake, NY and Sharron (Larry) Root of Florida. Three brothers: Tony and Billy Kilburn of Lake Placid, NY and Joe Kilburn of Glens Falls, NY, three sisters: Sharon (Jackie Hamilton) Kilburn of Sugar Bush, NY, Lolly Chainao of Glens Falls, NY and Sandy Mihill of Lake Placid, NY. Priscilla is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her father and mother, her brother Gene Kilburn and her sister Vallie Kilburn.

Funeral Arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home. At Priscilla’s request, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
