John "Whitey" Keese

Word has been received of the death of John "Whitey" Keese, age 78, of 34 Alder Brook Road, Vermontville, NY, who died on Saturday, July 09, 2011 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Whitey was extremely well known for his county music jamborees at his camp in Redford in August.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial is tentatively set to take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday July 14, 2011 at Church of the Assumption in Redford, NY, with Rev. Donald Kramberg officiating. Military honors will immediately follow at the church.
Friends wishing to remember Whitey Keese may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
