Beverly Jones

Beverly A. Jones, age 75, of Saranac Lake, died Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Mercy Health Care Center in Tupper Lake.

Born in Plattsburgh, New York on May 11, 1940, Bev was the daughter of Bernard and Pearl Tuthill.

She is survived by her three daughters Kim Girouard (Roger) of Saranac Lake, Linda Allen (fiancé Walter) of Rainbow Lake and Michelle Wilson of Saranac Lake, four grandsons Tim and Derek Johnson, Donnie Wilson and Keaton Allen. She was especially proud of her beautiful little great granddaughters Emmalee and Brielle Johnson.

She is also survived by her mother Pearl and her sister Joan Kiah (Patrick) of Saranac Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband George, her father Bernard and son-in-law Donald Wilson.

Bev was a wonderful loving mother and the most amazing Nana to her grandsons. She enjoyed time with her family more than anything else in the world. Despite her daily challenges you could always count on Bev for a good joke of funny story. She will be remembered for her courage and hope that she would one day be free of the restrictions of her illness. Our Mom can now leave behind 19 years of confinement to her wheelchair to join her husband and love of her life George, where they will now continue their journey together in eternal happiness.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours and burial will take place at the convenience of the family at St. Bernard Cemetery.
