Susan Jessie

Susan Seney Jessie, age 78, of 664 McKenzie Pond Rd, Saranac Lake, died Sunday, November 14, 2021 at her home following a long illness.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on March 28, 1943, she was the daughter of Donald and Mary (Blakeley). Susan Seney married Charles W. Jessie, Jr. on Wednesday, March 28, 1984 in Saranac Lake, NY.

Susan was a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake and had worked at various local businesses including many years at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. She enjoyed bowling and fishing.

She is survived by her husband Charles “Chuck” Jessie of Saranac Lake, two daughters Melissa Fletcher of Indiana and Allison Kohler of Lake Placid, one son Donald Perkins of Pennsylvania, two sisters Kay McCasland of Lake Placid and Jean Vaughn Parker of Bloomingdale, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many close friends including Eliana Ormsby and Barbara Kent both of Saranac Lake. She was preceded in death by one son Brian Perkins and one brother Nicholas Frederick Margiotto.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake on Thursday November 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Eric Olsen Officiating.
