Carlton H. Harris, age 86, of 154 Ivy Terrace, Tupper Lake, NY died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, NY.
Born in Kokomo Corners DePeyster New York October 24, 1922, he was the son of William and Bernice (Hayes) Harris. He married Louise C. Charland who predeceased him in 1969.
Mr. Harris had attended the Kokomo Corners one room school house. He was employed by Munn’s Gas and Electric for 6 years, and later for Pyrofax Gas Co. for 6 years. He had also been employed by LaVigne Taxi Service as a Taxi Cab Driver for many years.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Roger, Durwood, and Regenal Harris and one sister Ruth Downing.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake, NY. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday August 21, 2009 at St. Bernard's Cemetery with Rev. Paul Kelly officiating.
