Shelly Hamilton-Hadynski

Shelly Elizabeth Hamilton-Hadynski, age 45, of Saranac Lake, died Friday, May 18, 2018 at Moses-Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga, NY.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on April 30, 1973, she was the daughter of David and Virginia (Wood) Struss. Shelly, married George Hadynski on December 27, 2008 in Gabriels, NY.

Shelly loved her family and life in the Adirondack Mountains. She loved her flowers and gardening, and most especially loved her husband George.

Shelly is survived by her husband George Hadynski of Saranac Lake, NY, her mother Virginia Struss of Saranac Lake, NY, her son David Hamilton, and her daughter Cassandra Hamilton of Jacksonville, Fl. Shelly is also survived by her sister Catherine (James) Vaughn of Massena, NY, and her best friends Tom and Natasha Barkley and their children Pasha and Lyra of Charlotte, NC and Andre of Russia.

Shelly was preceded in death by her father David Struss, her father-in-law Thomas Hadynski, and her mother-in-law Joyce Hadynski.

Calling hours are set to take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake, NY on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00pm at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Cross officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
