Terry D. Hague, age 80, of 321 Old Ray Brook Road, died Tuesday, December 08, 2015 at his home following a short illness.
Born in Canton, Ohio on August 18, 1935, he was the son of Byron and Zola (Bergert) Hague. Terry married Geraldine Flannery on June 30, 1979 in Mahwah, NJ.
Terry had been a resident of the area since 1983 coming from Mahwah, NJ where he had been employed in New York City in Advertising. After moving to Saranac Lake he went to work at WNBZ Radio Station and was on the air from 1984 to 1992. Terry was a well-known wildlife artist and had his own business Ramapaugh Mountain Studios in Ray Brook. He sold wildlife art through Orvis and Wild Wings and was known for his work throughout the world. Terry was an avid New York Yankees, NY Giants and NY Rangers fan. He also especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine of Ray Brook, one son Steve Hague of Ray Brook, one daughter-in-law Ann Hague of Bloomingdale, one granddaughter Sierra Hague of Bloomingdale, and one brother James Hague and his wife Lauren of Fairlawn, NJ.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5: 00 PM - 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 12, 2015 the Fortune - Keough Funeral Home, with Rev. Patrick Ratigan officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
