Our dad, Thomas A. Hadynski, also known throughout the Adirondacks at 'the trunk man' passed away Monday evening May 13th at his home.
He was truly an amazing man. At the age of 77 he remained active right up until only several weeks before his death. He loved refinishing his trunks, walks with his dog Jake, and most of all he loved his family. Though he will be greatly missed by all we find peace and joy knowing that he is in Heaven with Jesus where there is no more pain or suffering.
He is survived by eight children: Holly Huggins and her husband William of Vermontville, NY, Toni Hadynski of Stockbridge, GA, George Hadynski and his wife Shelly of Westville, NY, Michelle Flynn and her partner Zauhn Burgey of Plattsburgh, NY, Teddi Allen and her husband Kelly of Bloomingdale, NY, Danielle Hadynski of Ionia, NY, Richard Hadynski of Lake Placid, NY, and Traci Hathaway and her husband Ryan of Saranac Lake, NY. He also is survived by eight grandchildren: Brianna Huggins, Morgan Harrington, Camille, Rivers, & Bowen Allen, Cody and Dakota Flynn, Lydia Barber, Zachary & Riley Hadynski, Madison Hathaway, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with Pastor Jeff Grey and Pastor Ryan Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Gabriels.
Friends wishing to remember Thomas Hadynski may make memorial contributions to High Peaks Hospice in care of the funeral home. Family and friends can also share their memories and sign the online guestbook at fortunekeoughfuneralhome.com.
