Joyce Hadynski, age 73 of Gabriels, NY passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 11, 2009.
Born in Gabriels, New York on January 10, 1936, she was the daughter of George and Helen (Gonyea) Fountain. She married Thomas Hadynski on March 5, 1960 at the Church of the Assumption in Gabriels.
Joyce was a kind, loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma, great-grandma, and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed traveling with her husband of forty-nine years. She loved singing, bowling, working in the yard with her flowers , creating beautiful birdfeeders and lawn ornaments, bird watching and just being with her family.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Hadynski of Gabriels, NY, eight
children: Holly Huggins and her husband William of Vermontville, NY, Toni Hadynski of Douglasville, GA, George Hadynski and his wife Shelly of Ray Brook, NY, Michelle Flynn of Lake Placid, NY, Teddi Allen and her husband Kelly of Bloomingdale, NY, Danielle Hadynski of York, NY, Richard Hadynski and his wife Sarah of Gabriels, NY, and Traci Hathaway and her husband Ryan of Saranac Lake, NY. She also had eight grandchildren: Brianna Huggins, Morgan Harrington, Camille, Rivers, & Bowen Allen , Cody and Dakota Flynn, Lydia Barber, Zachary & Riley Hadynski, Madison Hathaway, and several great grandchildren.
She is also survived by one brother Clayton Fountain of Gabriels, NY, two sisters Brenda Darrah and Valerie Fountain both of Gabriels, NY, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.. Family members will share remarks of remembrance at 6:45 PM. Burial will take place at Mt.
View/Brighton Cemetery in Gabriels in the spring.
