Kathlene Goodrich

Kathlene E. Foley Goodrich, 51, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 following a long illness.

Kathlene was born the daughter of Bernard and Jean (Wamsganz) Foley in Saranac Lake on October 31, 1961.

Kathy met the love of her life James Goodrich in April of 1986 and they married in Bradenton, FL on September 4, 1994.

Kathy was a Senior Officer Specialist, Case Manager at the Ray Brook Federal Prison System where she was honored with numerous awards until her retirement in 2004. Kathy graduated from Skidmore in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Kathy loved her dog, Druid, poetry and to live life to the fullest. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, James Goodrich and her parents, Bernie and Jean Foley of Saranac Lake and her brother, Joseph Foley of Long Lake. Kathy is also survived by her Uncles Bill, Vernon, John, Paul and Matt Wamsganz, her nephews, Michael Foley, James Goodrich, Josh Goodrich and her niece, Kelsey Mayo.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Fortune-Keough Funeral Home from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Muench officiating.
