Charles Golluscio, DC, age 79, of Saranac Lake, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Born in Yonkers, New York on April 22, 1939, he was the son of Armand and Antoinette (Galardi) Golluscio. Charles met Catherine Considine while they were in the Peace Corps stationed in Brazil from 1966 until 1968. They married on January 4, 1969 in Queens, NY. She predeceased him on August 6, 2009.
Charles graduated from Iona college and then Chiropractic college. He was a resident of Saranac Lake since 1972 and had operated his own chiropractic business for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during the “Cold War” period from May 14, 1957 until May 13, 1960.
Charles is survived by six children Edward (Teresia) Golluscio of Canton, GA, Elizabeth Golluscio of New York City, Charles Golluscio and Andrew Golluscio of Saranac Lake, Michael Golluscio of Arizona, and Annette Paye of Lake Placid, as well as five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one brother Paul Golluscio.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home with Fr. Paul Kelly officiating. Burial will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery.
