Constance C. Godin, age 81, of 257 Calef Rd, Manchester, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at her sons home in Manchester, NH.

Born in Tupper Lake, New York on July 29, 1928, she was the daughter of Earl and Nora (Cudhea) Trudeau. She married Robert Godin on October 16, 1948 in Tupper Lake, New York. He predeceased her on March 22, 2005.

Connie graduated from Tupper Lake High School . Connie and her family traveled and lived in many states because of Bob's line of work as a dredge man. She and Bob moved back to Tupper Lake after his retirement because Tupper Lake was always home to them.

She is survived by one son Lee Godin of Manchester, NH, and one daughter Pamela Gruszczynski and her husband Robert of Rye, NH, one sister Joan Grammo of Star Lake, NY, and several nieces and nephews, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her father Earl Trudeau, her mother Nora Cudhea and her brother Robert Trudeau..

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake, NY. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. August 20, 2009, with Rev. Allen Lamica officiating. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Tupper Lake.
