Germaine Jeannine McDougall

Word has been received of the death of Germaine Jeannine McDougall, age 92, of Saranac Lake, NY who passed away on Monday June 24, 2024 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake with family by her side.

Germaine was born on December 1, 1931 in Alburg, VT, the daughter of Charles and Irene (Martin) Dulude. 

She is survived by her children, Kathy McDougall LaGreca (Anthony) and John McDougall (Kim Schoch) along with their children Joseph, Theresa Reno (John), Michael LaGreca(Adina) and Logan (Mary) McDougall and Jordynne McDougall.  Also surviving are her great grandkids Patrick, John Thomas and Kora.

Germaine was a registered nurse working at different healthcare facilities in the North County, where she particularly enjoyed working at the Four Winds Psychiatric Facility in Saratoga, NY.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY. 12983. At Germaine's request, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in the family lot in Alburg, Vt.
