Alice Fuller

TUPPER LAKE- Alice Fuller, 84, of Tupper Lake, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Uihlein Mercy Center where she had resided for the past two days. Born on July 31, 1925 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Francis and Louise (Theriault) Disotell. Alice was a graduate of Holy Ghost Academy and St. Mary's Nursing School in Rochester. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Mercy General Hospital, went on to work at Sunmount VA and later Sunmount DDSO retiring in 1980. On July 17, 1954 she married Raymond Fuller at St. Alphonsus church. He died on June 5, 2003. Mrs. Fuller was a member of the Ste Anne's society and the BPW. She loved cooking and baking and enjoyed traveling with her husband. She is survived by one son Lyndon and his wife Patricia of Tupper Lake. A grandson Joshua and one sister Anne Whittum of Corey's . She was predeceased by her husband Ray and four sisters. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 12 from 4 to 7 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home. A Mass of christian burial will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in May.
