Bernard Foley

Bernard J. Foley, age 82, of 60 Church Street, Saranac Lake, died Monday, January 04, 2016 at the Adirondack Medical Center.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on September 26, 1933, he was the son of Leonard and Grace (McMillian) Foley. Bernard married Jean Wamsganz on April 4, 1959 in St. Bernard's Church.

Bernie worked at IBM in Essex Junction, VT for many years until his retirement and later at the American Management Association in Saranac Lake for 20 years. He was a volunteer at the Ecumenical food pantry and member of the Saranac Lake Adult Center.

He is survived by his wife Jean Foley of Saranac Lake, his son Joseph Foley of Saranac Lake, his grandson Michael Foley of Cape Coral, FL, and his great grandchildren Brennen and Sean Foley of Cape Coral, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, one daughter Kathlene Foley-Goodrich, one brother Tony Leonard Foley and one sister Mary Gibbo.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will take3 place at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
