Sandra Fobare, 60, of Saranac Lake passed over to becoming an angel for the lord to receive on January 24, 2021.
Sandra is survived by her twin sister Susan Pratt, brother-in law Kevin Pratt, her “Little Sister” Debra Ratelle and “Big Sister” Linda Daunais, in honorary status. She also leaves behind her beloved cat Sweet Pea.
Sandra was most recently employed with Amerigas for the past 15 years and prior to that Adirondack Bank for 10 years. She worked part-time for ORDA as needed; and, with her mother Katee Fobare up “on the hill” for Howard Johnsons/Comfort Inn for banquets.
Sandra loved to bake and share her goodies with her work family – whom she loved and cherished. She was part of the Thursday Night Women’s bowling league for many years. Recently, before her illness took over, she enjoyed making jewelry for the Cancer Society, and being part of the SLHS Class reunion of 1979 committee.
She was predeceased by her loving mother Katee Morgan Fobare and father, Linus Fobare.
Due to the COVID pandemic, a Celebration of Life honoring Sandy will take place at a later date. She hopes that all of friends and family will attend and a raise a glass up to her and share your favorite stories and memories with love. Sandra’s wish was to let those closest to her know that she cherished and loved you.
We would like to thank the staff that took good care of her in keeping her comfortable: Noelle Wood, Michelle Wright, Paul Kotecki and countless others.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. Donations on Sandy’s behalf can be made to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society. Friends can also share their condolences, memories and photographs at fortunekeoughfuneralhome.com
