Robert James Fenton, age 82, of Plattsburgh, died Monday, May 10, 2021 at C.V.P.H Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on March 26, 1939, he was the son of William and Doris (Houston) Fenton. Robert, married Cynthia Davis on July 17, 1965 in Lawrence Massachusetts. She predeceased him on July 4, 2000.
Robert received his Associate in engineering degree from Franklin Technical Institute in Boston on June 14, 1958. He had been employed at Danamora Ford for many years as a Sales Representative until his retirement. He was an avid Nascar, Boston Red Sox and Bruins and Patriots fan. Robert served in the United States Navy Seabees from 1961 to 1967. He was a wonderful father, brother and grandfather loved by all.
He is survived by one sister Nancy Fenton, four children Janet (John) Hymans, David (Teresa) Fenton, Scott (Michelle) Fenton, and Keith (Krista) Fenton, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
