Patricia E. Dupree, age 75, of 60 Church Street, Saranac Lake, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at her home.
Born in Saranac Lake, New York on June 07, 1935, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Marie (Keyes) Quigley. She married Robert Dupree on June 27, 1953. He predeceased her on July 11, 1998.
Mrs. Dupree was a life long resident of the area. She retired from the Hotel Saranac Gift Shop and went to work for Meyers Hallmark.
She is survived by five children Peter Dupree and his companion Nadia Korths of Saranac Lake, Barbara Kristoffersen and her companion Mike Sawyer of Potsdam, NY, Amy Hagar and her husband Tom of Saranac Lake, NY, William "Bill" Dupree of Saranac Lake, NY and Thomas Dupree and his wife Wendy of Saranac Lake, NY, two sisters Ann Crisham of Lake Placid, NY and Eileen Swain of Saranac Lake, NY, three brothers Joseph Quigley of Saranac, NY, Thomas Quigley of Staten Island, NY, and James Quigley of Florida, nine grandchildren Mandy Dickinson of Odgensburg, NY, Robert Kristofferson of Tupper Lake, NY, Ben, Tod and Nick Hager, Brandon Dupree, Patrick Dupree and Jon & Chris Dupree all of Saranac Lake, NY, four great grandchildren Madelyn and Connor Dickinson of Odgensburg, NY and Chad & Hazel Hagar of Saranac Lake and two step grandchildren Jennifer and Greg Riley. She was preceded in death by two sons Paul and Michael Dupree, five sisters Margaret Rice, Marie Peabody, Kate Wiles, Barb McKillip, and Elizabeth Owens, and one brother Larry Quigley.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 2, 2011 St. Bernard's Church, with Rev. Mark Reilly officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
