John Anthony Duchaine, 51, of Lake Clear, NY. Died Wednesday April 6, 2022 at home.

John was born in Malone, NY on September 23,1970, the son of Kathy (Yelle)Aubin, and the late John Edward Duchaine.

John graduated from Franklin Academy High School in Malone. He enlisted in the US Army, upon his discharge, John became a jack of all trades.

John was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Saranac Lake, a dedicated, loyal, and heroic member of the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department.

John was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

John enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, fire pit fires, visiting with neighbors, friends and family.

John is survived by his wife Amber, sons: Brandon Duchaine, and Josh Clement, daughter Megan Duchaine, Stepdaughters: Katelyn Jarrett, Claire (Justin) DiOrio, Stepson Isaac (Coco) Jarrett, Stepgrandchildren: Emry, Maddix, Piper, and Sabine DiOrio, and grandpa's girl Lydia Norton-Jarrett. John is also survived by his mother Kathy (Yelle) Aubin, his brothers: Fred and John H. Duchaine, his sister Amanda Duchaine, his nephews: Cody and Connor, his nieces: Madison, Jenna, and Jaylee, and several uncles and aunts.

John was predeceased in death by his father John Edward Duchaine, his stepfather Carl Aubin, and his grandparents Kathleen and Paul Burgess.

Funeral arrangements are in care of Fortune Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. Per John's wishes there will be no calling hours, a celebration of John’s life will be held at the convenience of family.
