Tamela Darrah

Tamela K. Darrah, age 51, of 159 Ivy Terrace, Tupper Lake, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Adirondack Medical Center.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on January 02, 1959, she was the daughter of Melvin and Carol (Perry) Elliott.

Tamela had been a life long resident of the area and had been employed at Sunmount DDSO in Tupper Lake. She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting fishing, and camping. She especially loved to draw.

She is survived by her mother and father, Melvin and Carol Elliott formerly of Lake Clear, NY and currently of Clearwater, FL, one son Preston Darrah and his wife Karen of Saranac Lake, NY, one daughter Erin Darrah of Saranac Lake, NY, one granddaughter Emma Callaghan of Saranac Lake, NY, and two brothers Bill Elliott of Lake Placid, NY, and Timothy Elliott of Saranac Lake, NY. She was preceded in death by her brother Tracey Elliott.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
